DTF powder, fully named DTF hot-melt adhesive powder, is mainly divided into two types: TPU soft powder and PES hard powder, which is a special adhesive medium for DTF heat transfer printing.
Simply put, DTF printing only prints patterns on PET film, and the ink itself has no viscosity and cannot fit fabrics. After high-temperature curing and melting, DTF powder will form a high-elastic, wear-resistant and washable adhesive layer, which connects the printing ink on one side and fits the garment fabric on the other side to realize firm pattern transfer.
Selection Tips
TPU fine powder (80-120 mesh): It features softness, good elasticity, air permeability and excellent wash resistance with traceless hand feel. It is the first choice for daily customization, suitable for T-shirts, hoodies, thin fabrics and fine small patterns
PES coarse powder: It has high hardness, strong adhesion and high cost performance. It is suitable for thick fabrics such as denim, canvas and bags. The disadvantage is that it feels hard and is not suitable for close-fitting clothes.
